Hello | Bonjour→Values→Next Steps
Our process begins with a conversation.
First we get to know your business, area(s) of specialization and your values. The aim is to understand your current strategies and marketing objectives so that we can create an outstanding web presence to match your brand.
Step 1: Discover. We start with strategic planning to build or enhance your existing web presence. This discovery process is based on research and discussion. You know your business best — we can help you understand where it sits, and where it could expand.
Step 2: Design and Develop. We can refresh your existing brand, or create a brand new site to showcase your business.
One of the biggest challenges here is content development. Initially, we assess your existing content and then work with you to develop and refine it. Then we start designing. Of course, if you have no content you’re going to need some guidance. Copywriting/photography… we can recommend a writer or photographer who we will work closely with to make sure the content matches the vision.
The development process (ie: the coding of the site) comes after we have an idea of what type of features you need, and of how your customers should be guided through your site. And let’s not forget SEO. Organic SEO (search engine optimization) is a vital part of the next step.
Step 3: Launch. A simple word. With many things to consider. Did you have an existing site that needs to have all the URLS re-directed so nothing goes amiss? Or is your domain brand new? Each brings special considerations. How are you going to let your audience know about your new site? We’ll handle the technical elements and can guide you on how to promote your new presence.
Social Media→Twitter? Facebook? Pinterest?
Social media — boy has it evolved over the years. Mashable has a nice infographic showing the development of social media over 30 years!
We can set up and advise you on your social media properties, considering it from both the perspective of time and audience reach. How much time can you invest in keeping such platforms up to date? What is the most practical and realistic way for you to have a voice, without it being an overwhelming prospect. Who is your audience? What platforms are your clients, suppliers, even competition using?
We’ve helped clients develop social media profiles on facebook, twitter, youtube, linked-in, google+… and while we are not obsessed with social media, we do keep our ear to the ground. With so many options to choose from, what’s the best focus for your business?
Start with one. The one that’s the easiest, that you (or your team) will keep up to date. Then you can think about all the other shiny new spaces on the web. Unless you’re like a mega-corporation, in which case you might need them all. We can work with you to develop a strategy that you will be able to implement and maintain.
Our goal is to provide you with a website that you love
and that helps your business flourish.
